MEOW LETS RAISE THE WOOF!
We are so excited to announce that the Herkimer County Humane Society has been selected to receive $500,000 for capital improvements from the New York State Companion Animal Capital Fund.
As part of the project some of the updates we will be pursuing are, new kennels, updated visiting areas for both our dogs and cats, play yards, installing air filtration system, and adding a community room to our facility. These are just a few of the exciting changes we will be making because of this amazing opportunity.

The grant does require the HCHS to raise $125,000 to move forward to begin our construction.
