Malachi came in as a stray, and we later found out that he and his partner were just turned loose by their owners.

The fear their faces and body language they showed when brought in to us is heartbreaking!Malachi’s name given to him by his owners was Merlot. We renamed him to help leave the past of uncommitted owners who irresponsibly rid themselves of their family member behind.
Malachi is a VERY young 9 years old. He loves toys, but doesn’t care to share those toys. He weighs around 50 lbs, housebroken, good on a leash, and is good in the car but is not a fan of kitties, or visits to the vet.
Malachi would love to be loved by you if you find it in your heart to rescue him, and at the well behaved age of 9, all he needs is love.
