Phoenix is a good girl deserving of a good home.
Phoenix and her sister Sassy were living in squalor in the town of Herkimer, ultimately surrendered to avoid the attention their conditions were drawing.
We couldn’t be more thankful to have them because Sassy & Phoenix were both positive for heartworm and if left to live in this hell, would’ve surely died a slow and painfully agonizing death. 
Sassy has been adopted leaving Phoenix to wait for her heroes. Phoenix is 2 years old, 54 pounds, good with cats, low energy dogs and very people friendly.
She is just finishing her heartworm treatment.
